I am one of a few surviving members of the line of descendants of Carl Heinrich Wilhelm DAWARTZ. He immigrated, with his wife Amalie (Mollie) and sons Charles and Harry, in 1883 and settled in Davenport, Iowa.

The surname no longer survives in the USA.
