Classification: Query
Surnames: DAWE, SMITH, BLANCHARD, CROSSMAN, MILDREN
If any of you are interested in seeing how science may be able to help link up our assorted DAW(E) families, check out the DAWE/DAW Surname DNA project at
http://worldfamilies.net/surnames/dawe
You don't have to be a project participant to submit a pedigree for the Patriarchs page.
Until the end of August there are some heavy discounts available for tests (make sure you use the Join link on the project page to get the right discounts)
Currently we only have one participant, and would love more.
My particular interest is in a couple of Devon families, and I would love to hear from descendants willing to join the project.
- Isaac DAWE and Sarah SMITH of Lamerton - my main line, descendants very widespread
- Sampson DAWE and Joan BLANCHARD; Joseph DAWE/Elizabeth CROSSMAN (the one with the wonderful old stone in Buckland Monachorum churchyard); Joseph DAWE/Ann MILDREN
