Hi I am the granddaughter of Geroge William dawes,the brother of Robert, and Henry Dawes.there father was William born 1824. I have Patrick Dawes born 1777 and Isabella born 1788 as his father and mother. I may be wrong on this.

George William (1883) moved to Ullswater in 1924 from Whitehaven with his wife Hannah and his 8 children 5 Boys & 3 girls. the girls moved to Manchester& Liverpool and the boys stayed mostly in the Lake districk.
