Putnam Politch Randle Dawsey is who took him in,there where 2 more sons of john hogan sr george and Ralph,george died of a heart attack and ralph was a test pilot in the army I think maybe airforce he died in a plane crash,john jr was 14 when the mother died so he just took care of himself with help from family,frank and ralph went to an orphanage in jackson ms.When they could they both joined the military.the mother died in 11-17-1923.I don't get e-mail address when this is sent sister's e-mail mdkellar@hotmail.com mine is randyd_1@msn.com.
