Hello Lorraine,
My name is Joseph D. Spisk and I have been looking for my mother, who is also a Daybill for years. My mother, Anna Mae Daybill, was born around 1918 and was married to my father, Joseph Otto Spisk, who passed away on May 5, 1966. I was born on January 7, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pa and never knew my mother as my parents separated when I was an infant. I was raised by my Aunt Ruth Spisk Martin and Uncle Louis Martin. I would appreciate it very much if you would respond to let me know if you have any information regarding Anna Mae Daybill.

I have a new email and feel free to contact me direct at
IrishRoots@highstream.net
I believe possibly you would find more info if you looked under the name Dayhill. My lineage is Dahill and it's often misspelled as Dayhill due to various pronunciations.
If you try searching for Leonard or Catherine Dahill , you may find something. I have some on a Catherine Dahill so let me know more details so I can see if I have any Catherine Dahill that could be a match for you.
DIana

Re: Daybill, Leonard J.maybe DAHILL
Hello Lorraine, I stumbled onto your message and I believe you may be looking for my DAHILL surname. Pronounced Day hill in the states pronounced dah hill in Ireland.
Some of my Dahills meet the description you gave of cruelty. AND they lived on an Algonquin Indian reservation in Canada.
I’ve never found a Leonard anywhere but we have Lawrence and Leo. Also Dahills in CT. If you can give me some possible birth, marriage, death dates I might find something but it’s a super long shot. Have you tried searching for Dabill? As a surname alternate as well?
I’m in Mass. where are you?
