I am trying to trace the family history of my husband, including his mothers line, de carteret. Violet May de carteret was born in 1918, married Alec James Allington, from Suffolk, England, and had 2 children, Lyle, and Raoul. Her mother was Florence may de carteret (nee Robert) b approx 1882. Violet may had a sister named Lucille Maud Gaff who died in 1951.
