MUSCATINE, Iowa —Thomas Michael Dea, 52, Muscatine, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at his residence in Muscatine following a sudden illness.
Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2009, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home, Washington. Reverend Darryl Carr will officiate. Interment will be at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2009, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the University of Iowa Dialysis Unit.
Thomas was born on August 10, 1956, in Washington, the son of John R. and Donna Jean Ferguson Dea.
He attended school in Ainsworth and at Highland High School. He lived most of his adult life in Muscatine.
He worked as a custodian for Service Master in Muscatine. He enjoyed cars.
He is survived by his father, John R. Dea of Ainsworth; a sister, Debra Dea Castel of Davenport; a brother, Stephen John Dea of Pella; a niece, Amanda Hanssen of Davenport; two great-nieces; and a great- nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Dea and a brother-in-law, Jesse Castel.
