Hello, Sharon,
I, too, am descended from the Deams. My mother was Phyllis Deam Everett, her father Phillip Paris Deam (m. Louella Wladrip), his father, Andrew Daniel Deam (m. Maude Esther Flavell), and his father Andrew Deam (m. Mary Susan Holder).
Our Deams lived in Alvarado, Texas. My grandfather moved his family to Dallas.
Don't know if I can answer questions for you, but just wanted to say hello, cousin!
Penny Everett

Hello, Cousin!
Finally, I've stumbled across you! Man, I hope you read this!
I've something in which you or one of your boys might be interested. A Child's History of England, ca late 1800's, signed by Earl Deam by Charles Dickens.
It was among some things Aunt Marian (Earl and Phil's sister, AD and Maude's daughter, no children)had and I grabbed it when Mom passed away so it didn't wind up in the heap!
Please let me know if you want this, or just to let me know how you all are getting along.

John Peter Deam who marr. a Koepke(sp?) was the younger brother of my great-grandfather Andrew Deam. Their parents only had one child (Andrew) when they emigrated from Germany. The rest were USA-born. My great-grandfather moved to Indiana and married ~1856, to Kentucky in early 1860, and to Lancaster, Texas in 1868.

I have an original closeup postcard photograph of “Henry Deam, and Sarah LaFager”, marked “Greetings from “Dauphin Park, Chicago”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in about 1915, and he looks to be about age 22.

I found Henry Deam, in the WWI Draft Registrations, as a clerk on the IL Central RR in 1918, living at 828 E. 88th Place, Chicago. Sarah LaFager’s family lived at 1686 88th Place, Chicago.

Email me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to Henry Deam.

Ira T. Deam

Looking on info on Ira T. Deam. He was first married to Emily Townsend sister. Don't know for sure which one and have not found any info on that. He had 4 children with her, Sal, (Sylvester), Maude, Will, Ira. He then married Maude Bonjour, they had no children. He then married a Robert Deam's mother and don't know her name. I believe that Ira came from Jo Daviess co., and died in Hampton, Franklin co., IA. He is buried with Maude.
Maude also came from Jo Daviess co., but don't have much info on her either! Can any one help! You can email me at wdbonjour@fiai.net. Thank you Diann

I don't know her mother's name. There are some unnamed pictures from my father's estate that I suspect may be a picture of her parents.
She was born in 1866 and had my grandfather Earl in 1885. She was married to Robert Melvin White. They had no other children. They did meet and marry near Mendota IL. and eventually ended up in Duluth MN.
Deam is only a name on her death certificate.
Any information would be appreciated.
