My mother was adopted in 1928 or 9 after her father, John W. Dean died in Kentucky. John W. was born in 1858 or 1860 in Virginia. He was married several times and there were many children. Some of them were: Troy born about 1896, Edna, 1912, Wellington, 1918, Johnny, 1924 Daniel, 1928, Helen, 1920, Tommy, Miriam. Zelmar, Roosevelt, Gladys, Bob, Dan born 1925. There were probably more born around 1880 either in Virginia, West Virginia or Kentucky. Are any of these names familiar?
I know that someone has to know atleast one of them. More than one of them must have gotten married and be in someones family. Are you out there. Am I the only one that is looking? Please contact me at vdach@gte.net
