Thanks for the info you sent. I haven't been able to trace Susan Barr... but I know for sure that Mary came to Canada with Matthew and their 4 small children (May 1836)... so Susan must be buried in Scotland..I was not aware of this marriage, so it's an interesting tidbit... and children born in Scotland have Matthew and Mary listed as parents. I wonder if Susan died in childbirth and the child died too... or perhaps she just died young from natural causes... another mystery to solve.
