I am related to William Kirkwood and Ann Deans. William and Ann had i. Ann, ii. William, iii. John, iv. Matthew, v. Thomas, vi. Thomas. John Kirwood was my GGGrandfather and he married Margaret McWhannell, the daughter of Archibald McWhannell and Elizabeth Reid. Ann Deans became the third wife of Archibald McWhannell, the previous two dying.I have been in touch with living Kirkwoods in Scotland.
