Mr. Deaton,
I don't have all the family information but I do have a bit. John Henry Deaton was brother to my grandmother, Viola Deaton Thomas. I can trace, fairly accurately I think, the line that will connect to your line. I have Lawson Deaton's CD that documents much of the Deaton "cousins" but his documention, for my line, stopped at my great-grandfather, Henry Thomas Deaton, father of John Henry and Viola Deaton (and a few other brothers and sisters). I am happy to share what I have.
