Mrs. Mary Lee Deaver
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee Deaver, 86, of Taylors Valley were at 2 p.m. Monday in Taylors Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Dillard and the Rev, Lain Teel officating. Burial was in Wilson Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Deaver died October 12 in a Bartlett nursing home.
She was born in Bell County to Chester and Elizabeth Harris Johnson and was a lifelong resident of Taylors Valley. She married Carrell Deaver October 24, 1924 and was a member of Taylors Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Carrell Deaver of Sparks; a son, Irvin
Deaver of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Inez Beadle of Sparks and Virginia Shafer of Jacksonville; a brother, S. L. Johnson of Temple; a sister, Edith Kinney of San Angelo; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the building fund of Taylors Valley Baptist Church.
