Hi, My grandmother was Margaret Debar b. 1900 in Heidelberg,Pa. She was the eldest of 10 children. Her father was Pierre Debar and her mother was Marie Dugas.Pierre was from Aubenas, France.He had brothers Louis, Regis,and Emile. He was b. 9 Feb.1873, his father was Pierre Debar and his mother was Philomina Chanvir or Chanot. Marie's parents were Alexis Dugas and Josephine Dumasaire and they were from Besseges,France. The spelling of his name on his immigration papers were spelled DeBare.As far as I know, Pierre and Louis were the only ones to marry and have children. Louis returned to france .
