Henry DeBock b. 12/20/1874, son of Joseph Leopold DeBock and Antoinette (Coenen) DeBock in DePere, Wi. was William Henry DeBock married to Nettie Clifton in April of 1899 in Wyo. He died in 1929 and is burried in Quinlan, OK. They had eight children and my father Leo Arthur was second from youngest.

There was a Henry DeBock who grew up in the Harrison, Nebraska, area whose wife was named Gladys. I don't know whether she was from Wyoming, but Torrington, Wyoming, was in the travel circle of Harrison, Nebraska.

Hi Debra,
I have quite a bit about the Harrison, NE Zurn's...they are cousins to Gregory Zurn, my husband's grandfather that I am trying to work on, along with his father, Adam Zurn, all from Germany. They are really a puzzle for me and would love to learn more of them.

I was wondering who you have before Victor De Bock? He was born 1780 in Belgium. That's as far as I could go "the brick wall".

I have about 4 generations before Leo Arthur De Bock, but I have him married to Crystal Elaine Grouse. I'm not sure if we have the same family. The Leo I have was born in Oklahoma and he died also in Oklahoma. Just let me know if you need some information.

My husband, Richard, is a great grandson of Joseph Leopold DeBock Sr. who was born in Belgium August 29, 1845 & emigrated to the United States as a young man. He married Antoinette Coonan in Feb. 1870. We have substantial family tree information from that time forward but would like to find out more about the family prior to Joseph Leopold's move to the US and would love to contact any existing relatives still in Belgium.

Joe; I'm also related to the De Bock Family. My grandmother Clara Francis De Bock (Hourt) was my grandmother. She was the daughter of Joseph Leopold De Bock Jr and Katherine Zurn. You said that you have the family up 1740'. I only have the family up to Victor De Bock born 1780; died 1834. He married Mary Theresia De They in Belgium. My grandmother was silva clara de bock. She belongs to the same family as Henry De bock. I have a lot of data on the DeBocks. Lots of help achieveing it. I would be glad to help. Henry's father is Joseph Leopold De bock born Verrebroek, ool laangen, Beligum. His Mother is Antoinette Coenen born in De Pere, Brown, Wisconsin. William Henry DeBock was born 20 Dec 1874 in DePere Wi. His brother Joseph Leopold DeBock was born 18 Dec 1884 in Twilly City (known today as Toole, Ut. He married Katharine Elizabeth Zurn. Their daughter Clara Francis was my grandmother. Francis is the name she went by. She married Alphonse Hourt. My mother is one of their daughters.

Jackie, I am Patricia Ann DeBock-Shelton's brother. My father was Leo Arthur DeBock and mother was Crystal Elaine Crouse-DeBock. My grandfather was William Arthur DeBock and grandmother was Nellie Clifton-DeBock. I know lots more and can date family back to 1749.

hello; you are the first person i have seen on this board! i have been searching for my mother-in-laws family for a while with no success. her name is patricia ann/her father is leo arthur. they were in chicago in the 30s and 40s. they then moved to oklahoma and stayed. she says she can't remember her paternal grandparents so i'm at a stand still unless somebody else can help me. i will ask her if she has ever heard of yours.

Benoit was born in Belgium on March 18,1946 and died in June 1986. His parents were Dominic DeBock and Marianne DeBock who were divorced around 1957 or 1958. Both parents remarried. Dominic DeBock had at least 1 son by his second wife. Marianne married James Allen, an American. As of 1981 Marianne lived in Falls Church, Virginia (USA) and Benoit DeBock Lived in Fairfax, Virginia.

Benoit DeBock was married in Europe (probably Belgium) to Noelle. There may or may not have been children born during this marriage. His second wife was Carolyn Weed DeBock Bookout (me). Married in Arlington Virginia on December 20, 1977 and divorced in Fairfax, Virginia on December 23, 1981. He had one son, Patrick (now Patrick Bookout) born on August 8, 1978. He had at least one or possibly two wives after that. I have reason to believe that he had at least one other son possibly born around 1983.

Benoit was an active skydiver in both Europe and the USA. He served in the Belgian Green Beret in a unit named "Pegausus". While living in Virginia, USA he became a licensed pilot and flew small aircraft regularly. It is likely that he was employed as a pilot on or just before his death.
