Mr. James Lee DeBord, age 95, of Bonifay (FL), passed away October 30, 2011 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City.

He was born June 29, 1916 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, to the late Charles DeBord and Forna Brumitt DeBord.

He is preceded in death by his wives, Elva L. DeBord Seals, Jewel DeBord and Betty Brown DeBord; two daughters, Sandra Lee Feix and Irene Lynn DeBord; two grandson; five brothers, Henry C. DeBord, Clarence DeBord, Ottis DeBord, Ethraim DeBord, Edward DeBord.

Mr. DeBord is survived by three daughters, Bonnie L. Taulbee and husband Robert of West Alexandria, OH, JoAnn Foxworth and husband Harvey of Bonifay, Martha Frances Simpson of Stanford, KY; two sons, Charles E. DeBord and wife Lucy of Charlotte, NC, Donald DeBord of Greenville, SC; one step-son, Garland Brown and wife Nelda of Scottsboro, AL; one sister, Christine Brown of Mt. Sterling, KY; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Peel Funeral Home Chapel in Bonifay with Rev. Donald Young officiating.

Interment will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 3, at Andalusia Memorial in Andalusia, AL, with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
