While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I am not related to this person, but thought I would post the obit in case it is helpful to someone.

DECOSSE - Joseph Decosse, a resident of this city for the past 24 years, died suddenly Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Romeo Mailloux, 32 Bodwell avenue, aged 66 years. He is survived by his wife, Melamie (Hebert) Decosse; five daughters, Mrs. Norvin Landers of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Romeo Mailloux, Mrs. Elphege Chicoine, Mrs. James Dacey, and Mrs. Hermidas Bisson of this city; 10 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Honore Riel, and one brother, Edmond Decosse of St. Antoine, P.Q.

Mooers Forks — Dennis G. Decosse, 61, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Mooers Forks on May 27, 1942, the son of Adrian and Ellen (Gadway) Decosse.

He loved animals and nature and enjoyed driving his four-wheeler.

He is survived by his mother, Ellen Decosse of Mooers Forks; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Roma and Helen Decosse of Mooers Forks and George Decosse of Mooers Forks; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Emma Savage of Rouses Point, Theresa and Joseph Snide of Mooers Forks, Bernadette Trudeau of Morrisonville and Loretta and Gerald Lafountain of Altona.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Ann's Church in Mooers Forks.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 27th, at 9 a.m. also from St. Ann's Church and interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Hi,
I'm doing a family tree for school.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me in finding any information on Joseph Decosse. I have no information whatosever yet. His parents names, birthday, death, etc...would be greatly appreciated.
