Virginia Ann DeCoursey, 75, of Erie ,pa,
passed away Monday, August 1st, 2011 at UPMC Hamot. She was born March 14, 1936, daughter to Edna Praetzel McGrath and Cornelius "Neil" G. Coughlin. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Erie, a graduate from Academy High School and an employee at Hammermill Paper Company. Ginny lead a truly blessed life full of loving family, wonderful friends and a lot of fun. A very special Mom, she enjoyed artistic endeavors, was an avid bowler, a great cook, had fun camping and boating and got to travel the world with her husband and friends after retirement, thanks to the GEER group. She leaves behind a loving husband of 54 years, Ronald Floyd DeCoursey; children, Daniel DeCoursey and Sylvia, Sharon Ambrose and husband, David, David DeCoursey and wife, April; six grandchildren, Danny, Rachael, Jaclyn, Justin, Christopher and Elise; one great-grandchild, Peyton; a brother, John R. Coughlin Sr.; and many dear friends. Friends may call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP, Pine Ave. Branch, 845 E. 38th St. Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and may attend the services Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 250 W. 7th St. at 10 a.m., with Rev. Dale Southern. Burial in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Alzheimer's Association , 1128 State St., Suite 301, Erie, PA 16501-1920.
