I know the grandaughter and daughter of Fred Decuir. Fred Decuir was married to a lady named, Rena, who was from California and Fred Decuir was a state representative and King of one of the early balls of Andulsia. His daughter is named Claudette and she is married to a Dartez and his grandaughter is named Susan McFarland, and she is married to Joel McFarland, and Susan is a teacher at New Iberia Senior High School in New Iberia and Joel McFarland, her husband is one of the assistant principals at the same high school. You could write Susan at 599 Emmeline Street, New iberia, 70563.
I know that Fred Decuir also had a son, but I do not know his name.
Fred Decuir served as either the second or third king of the mardi gras ball of Andulsia and years later his daugter, Claudette also served.
I know that FRed Decuir is a descendant of Francois Decuir, who was an early settler of the Bayou Torture neighborhood in St. Martin Parish and that FRancois Decuir was originally from Point Coupee Parish, La.
