Will check for the names you meentioned. Had forgotten about this old posting. Need to point out an enormous change. Many Deen researchers believed that Jeremiah Sage Deen 1819, IND. was the father of Jeremiah Sage Deen 1837, IND. (my great grandfather,)because of a mislabled 'Jr.' in a census. In fact, my Jeremiah's father was John Deen 1802, KY, husband of Nancy Ogle 1811, KY. All of the other documented records indicate same. John Deen 1802, KY, had an older brother George Deen, 1797, KY, who married Sarah Ogle, sister of his brother John's wife. Jeremiah 1819 states that he was born in Indiana. Jeremiah 1837 and George 1797, both state repeatedly that their parents were Kentucky born. The two Jeremiah's were however close-kin. Jeremiah 1819, was married to Margaret McDougal. Jeremiah 1837's brother George Deen 1830, married Hannah McDougall, Margaret's neice.
