Jeremiah Sage Deen b 1837 is the son of Jeremiah Sage Deen b 1819 and Margaret McDougal b 1819. The latter two are buried in the Deen East cemetary roughly on the Massac Co - Pope County line between Brookport and Bay City Illinois. I saw the gravestones of the parents when visiting this cemetary in the fall of 2008 and am a descendant of old Jeremiah. I can tell you a lot more about their descendants if you are interested.
