The short answer is I dont have a connection at this point. I am tracing a George Der and Alice Rickard line - born early 1800s. No children called Alice but then, my next generation line sofar traces only the children of James Deer and Sarah Trudgett. (James had lots of siblings and thus far I havent really explored that avenue. I know there is a connection with Linton - I think George and Alice both died in the WorkHouse there - one of the sadder sides of the story.
