I know your request was posted a very long time ago. I
am doing a genealogical search for my husband. I just started looking. His Deering line goes through his mother.
She was Jewel Deering Parnell. Her line is as follows:
Robert I. Deering (1873)- his grandfather-Ark.
Reuben L. Deering (1846)-Ga.
Robert Blake Deering (1814)-Ga.
Reuben Deering (1775)-Va.
Robert Marshall Deering (1725)-Va.
Robert Deering (1700)-Va.
Robert Deering (1675)-Va.
I hope that I have the list right. It seems to out the
right way. I have had a terrible time going beyond Robert
Deering (1675). It seems to be an Edward or Thomas. There
doesn't seem to be any official way to tell that I can find.
I am hoping that someone may have something concert.
I would be happy to exchange whatever info. I have.
I certainly would appreciate any help.
