Jacob Dehart is the son of Daniel Dehart (b. Aug 26, 1760 Staten Island, NY) and Elizabeth Von Busen (b. Jan 6, 1760 Germany). Daniel and Elizabeth were married in 1779. Daniel died Jan 29, 1842. Elizabeth died June 11, 1850 and is buried in Whitby, Ontario, Canada.
Daniel is the son of Samuel Dehart (b. Aug 12, 1717 Staten Island, NY) and Abigail Jones (b. 1725). Samuel died May 18, 1798 at Staten Island, N.Y.

My husband is from the Elizabeth Dehart and William Seeley line.
