I am filling in some material in a friend's family tree which includes the Jones family of Rowan Co., KY. In attempting to find the whereabouts in 1910 of Mary L.? Jones, daughter of Green Jones and wife Sarah/Sallie, I looked for any Marys in Rowan Co. in 1910 that had been born about 1889 or 1890, figuring that as Mary did not appear in the household with her parents in 1910 she was probably married and perhaps was living nearby.

I came up with two that fit the bill: one, a Mary Blair, and the other a Mary DeHart. As I have not been able to find any Mary Jones having married a Blair, I feel that Mary Jones may have become Mary DeHart. I wonder if anyone in the Dehart/DeHart research community knows if this theory is correct.

Also, the same friend's tree, on the other parent's side of the family, bumps up against some Deharts in Swain Co., NC. Can anyone tell me how or if the Deharts of Rowan are related to Deharts of Swain
