I have just begun looking into the Deisz family (also spelled DICE in 1880 census). I, too, am looking for the family of Martin Deisz, but born about 1853. I am trying to determine if his wife, Mary S., was Mary SCHECK. The Frederick and Herman you noted in your post (b. 1879 and 1887 respectively) were their children. In 1900, they are living in Akron, Ohio. Martin and Mary have been married 22 years, 11 children born, 8 living. Do you have any additional info on this Deisz family? Many of the Schecks are also buried at Mount Peace Cemetery.
