My husband is Robert George Welner. His gread-grandfather was William John Welner, he had changed his last name from Welna to Welner. He was one of seven children. He was married to Frances Deja, born 1867 in N. Germany and died June 22, 1935. She is buried in Queens, NY. She is the daughter of Jacob and Heidi(unknown) Deja. William's brother Caper John Welna married Frances' half sister Mary Magdalene Deja, on August 21, 1894 in New York, daughter of Jacob Deja and Cecelia Zynda. She was born July 22, 1876 in Silesia, West Prussia, and died Jul 1, 1965 in Minneapolis, MN. Jacob Deja died in Royalton, MN. I have information that their brother Bernard Deja, stayed in Brooklyn.
