Do you know this person?

I have been attempting to locate information about my mother's family but with minimal success at best. One reply from a wonderful woman who sent a family roster taken from the census. I just thought I actually have another approach I can take...appealing to CARPENTER families around Syracuse, New York to check for the names I will list. My mother, Lowanta Utile DELAND, born about May of 1912, was married to an unknown CARPENTER. They had two daughters. Caleen Ruth CARPENTER was born February 9th, 1940. Next was Joan Marie CARPENTER. I don't have her birthdate, but think she would've been born around 2 years later. They were born in Syracuse, as was our mother. Caleen was later married to Allen BRIGGS, and lastly, to Robert SMITH of Nedrow. I know there was someone else before BRIGGS but cannot recollect the name. Caleen died Sept. 11, 1999 in Syracuse. By the way, she lived in my mother's sister house on Worden Street in Nedrow, so would like to talk to someone who may have known Florence GLOVER (Andy). As to Joan, I saw her once in Salinas (Goleta), California in 1968 or 69. She was married to a highway patrolman by the name of Shelby Leroy ADAMS. Before her death Caleen shared with me that she and Joan were in foster care when they were kids. About the time I was born (1950), they moved to Alaska with my dad and our mother. Our mother left about 1952 (September). Don't know where she went, but we ended up with a little brother. Clifford A. CARLSON, Jr. was born around September 28, 1956. Haven't a clue where. In 1968, he and his father lived in Puyallup, Washington. By then, I geuss our mother had died...don"t know where. Caleen and I only heard the "rumor" she had died. If any of you find this familiar, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
