Surnames: Cleland, Clelland, Deland, D'Land,
Does anyone have any clelland or Cleland lines with thiers? I am researching William d'Land Cleland. i think the middle name could be a family name. Possibly deland and not d'Land. Just a shot but you never know. He was born 1836 in Ireland. I think his mother's name was sarah G. (maiden not known) Came to U.S. in 1842. had a brother James. Moved to N.Y. then Michigan. Thanks
