My GG grandfather was a James Delaney, born in Ireland 12/13/1808. I don't know his birthplace. He married Ann McCredman in Ireland (unknown date or place.) He and Ann came to the U.S. in July 1849 from Liverpool--on the "David Cannon".They came with 1 son, Thomas (3) and Ann gave birth to a dtr, Susan on the ship. Who died in New York when parentswere hospitalized. In a news article at Ann's 100th birthday, they mentioned a dtr, Mary, and said the couple had 5 children. If anybody can give me my missing info or help find the other children, I'd sure appreciate it !
PS They settled in Spencerville, Ohio.
