My great-great grandparents, Charles H. Delano of Constableville, NY, born 12-25-1804, and died 1-30-1909, and Jane Caval of England, born 7-16-1825 and died 1-30-1909, were a very busy couple. They produced Lorenzo Delano in 1856, Mary E. Delano in 1857, Silas (alt. spelling Silus) Delano in 1858, Angeline Delano in 1861, Jane Delano in 1862, Adeline and Almira Delano in 1865, Elizabeth and Nora L. Delano in 1867, Martha Delano also in 1867, Electra Roseanna Delano in 1870, Julia Delano in 1873, Emma Delano in 1876, and Harriet and Thomas Delano God only knows when, when they were bored. I'm Martha's descendant, and have information regarding that line. Would also love hearing about the other sibs and their descendants, as well as anything about Charles' and Jane's parents (F.H. Delano and Lena Olmstead, and Thomas Caval and Hellen Moucher, respectively). Contact me at
crazy_old_bat@hotmail.com . (Incidentally, my uncle, who's less a greenhorn at this than I am, tells me there's no mention of our line in The Genealogy of the American House of Delano 1621-1899. Must be they didn't let in the gomers!!)
