Patrick (born 1828) had parents, Hugh Delany (c1781 born in Athenry) and Rose (c1782). In the 1821 Athenry Census they are residing at 23 Northgate St; Athenry. Hugh and Rose have 3 daughters at this time - Honor (c1811), Mary (c1815) and Bridget (c1820); all born in Athenry. It's believed that there may have been an additional daughter, Patty (Patricia).
