I have been searching for several years for records in the Cullybackey village and Ballywatermoy Townland areas of County Antrim, NI, of a lady named Margaret Dunlap (b. about 1780 in County Antrim, NI) who presumably married a man named Wiseman (about 1800) and became the mother of both James (1808-1856) and my direct ancestor, Archibald Wiseman (1813-1853). I recently saw the record of another old Ulster marriage of a man named Wiseman to a lady named DELAP. Could it be that I should be looking for a Margaret DELAP rather than a MARGARET Dunlap. I've also noted that in that part of the world, the latter name can be spelled as either Dunlap or DUNLOP. Is DELAP another spelling variation of the same name???
