Hi John, was speaking to my dad about this and he informed me he had a aunt Mary that went to the states she would ave been born around 1898 the family lost touch with her so maybe this could be the same Mary Delap who is your Grandmother. Her brother who was my grandfather married a Mary Nee from Callowfinish. They also had a sister Bridget that went to America she married an O'Shea agian don't know much more about her as we lost touch with them.

I live in Rathcairn Co.Meath. Its one of 2 Gaeltachts in Meath. Our family was transplanted here back in 1935 by De Velara to help promote the irish language. And irish is still the first language of the area still today.
