That message was quite informative. My great grand father was Leonardo Ponce de Leon lived in Puerto Rico. He was a writer and wrote controversial articles against the government which excommunicated him from Puerto Rico. He fled to Santa Domingo.

My Grandmother was Marietta Diaz Ponce de Leon and lived in Rio Piedras.

My father was Hector Diaz Ponce de Leon however he chose not to use the last name and remained Hector Diaz.
