Hello Donna,
Sadly Paul is no longer alive, he died in the 70's and was almost 100 years old. I do have so new info on my DeLeske clan.
Adolph and Paul's parents names are John Dylewski, and Mary Palenik.
Mary and John Dylewski had 5 boys (including Adolph and Paul) and 1 daughter. Their names are:
John Paul (known as just Paul) b. in 1978
Auguste
Yohann
Adam
Adolph b. 1894
and Mary (Mary passed away when she was young)
Two of the brothers came to America, but soon went back. One of the brothers (I think it was Yohann) that went to America, upon arrival to the old country was taken and placed in a concentration camp, he was later released after he had his leg amputated.
According to the ship manifest, found at the Ellis Island webpage, Adolph came from Suwalki, Russia,, which is now part of Poland. I think at that time it was part of Prussia. On other things however, his hometown is listed as Kronigsberg (sp?), Prussia, which is now Kalingrad Russia..
I also have 2 more Dylewski (DeLeske), Emily and Auguste. Emily married Adam Myefski, and her parents are John Dylewski and Mary Rossick, and August married Frank Rollins. There are a few more mystery Dylewski's in Iron River, Michigan (Upper Michigan), that I can't identify, such as the mysterious F. Dylewski everybody went to visit.
Everything is very confusing. If you would like to email me, perhaps we could keep in touch? My email addy is asiabear007@earthlink.net
Thanks, sorry I wrote so much.
