Our family came from Germany near the Poland border. The spelling can be a's or e's or mixture (even in the cemetery between husband/wife/sibings)
Frederick and Henrietta came to USA in 1884 and settled in southern Minnesota. One the the boys, August, born about 1863 has a son named Adolph.
