Looking for information on Lena Delaska (1863-1941), married Albert Kiewatt and lived in southern MN. Also found the name George Delaska among family records, not sure of the relation. Thanks.

Hello, whew, finally found something on Deleske. Does anyone know where the name originates (Russia, Austria , Germany, etc). I don't know much about Adolph (my grandpa) was suppose to have come from a small town where one side is Poland and the other Germany. He was born May 17, 1894 and passed away Jul 1968. He was married to Minna Burke (Burkowski)?? They had 5 children, Alice, Margaret, Emily, Arta, and Edward. They resided in Michigan. His brother Paul married his sister in-law Minna's sister. Unsure of her name.. A

In November 1893 Albert F.H. Daleske married Bertha Fischer in LeSueur County, Minnesota. My gr-aunt Mrs. Albert Kiewatt (Lena Delaske) was one of the witnesses. I have citizen intention papers and naturalization papers. Albert mustered into Minn Vol Infantry in July 1898 and lists himself as single. LeSueur County has no divorce papers and cannot find a death certificate for Bertha. Albert had several discharges and re-enlistments up to December 1910 when he was discharge in ND. No further track of him in ND. Can anyone tell me anything about Albert. Trying to connect him with our family. Any help is appreciated. Shirley Dalaska.

Trying to find info on family of Carl Henry DeLeske and wife Eunice Christine Benns. Their first (only?) child was Donna Carleen, born 23 April, 1936 in Long Beach, CA. Donna was Donna Smith in 1995 when her mother Eunice died. Carl is from the South Dakota DeLeske's and Eunice was born in Oklahoma to William and Amanda Benns (Benn).

hi, The DeLeske family name is a hard one to find information on the net but here goes.
My grandfather was Jacob DeLeske, he had many children:Trudy,Henri-william, Jake, Helen, Erma, George and Nellie. My father was Henri-william. He died in 1968. I know that Erma was married to John Odermatt, Trudy married a Jack Sharpe, Helen married a Norman Clark. Most of them have children. The name DeLeske can also be written differently: deleske, delesky,etc.
My grandfather came from russia, moved to British Columbia, and his children from there moved on...vancouver, winnipeg, california, etc. If you have any info, please let me know.

So impossible to find info on this surname!! Whew, does anyone know where this name originated?? I've heard it was from Germany, Russia, Austria, or possibly Dutch..

The Deleske I'm related to, his name is Adolph Deleske , Born May 17,1884 and Died July 1968, he was my grandfather..

I have just discovered that my grandmothers brother Frederick Ralph Deleske was from Minneapolis and they he had 3 children as follows: Donald, Patricia and Doris Deleske or Delaske.
