Emeline (Emily/Emma) Deline Stone
Seeking the parents of Emily b. ca. Jan 1833 Canada; died 13 Dec 1877; buried at Port Hope Cemetery in Huron Co., MI.
Inscription reads Emily Stone 44y 11m 13 Dec 1877. She was married prior to 1853 to Simon Stone, s/o Thomas and Hannah (Deline) Stone. They resided in 1861 in Hungerford Twp. which I guess is Hastings Co. enumerated with John and Freelove Deline and the Stone children. In 1870 they were enumerated in St. Clair Co. MI. Probably sometime prior to 1877 when Emily died they moved to Huron Co., MI in the Rubicon Twp. area. The first child born in MI to Simon & Emily was born in 1865, so they came to MI before then. Also need the parentage of Hannah Deline who was Simon Stone's mother. I have been told that she was the d/o John and Freelove Deline, but I have no proof.
