I spotted you old message. Seems like I know the answer to your riddle. I go back to 1865 and so does Louis. The 1910 census: LOUIS,SERENA,LOUIS JR, ALICE, GODFREY, ETHEL, GEORGE, EDWARD, MARGARET and other came after including my father.

Louis Delmar from Staten Island is a relative...actually there are many Delmar's still there, and all trace back to my grandmother's family. She was the daughter of Louis and Serena Delmar. They had many children (and one of their son's was named Louis)
If you have any information regarding this family I would love to compare it to what I've already collected.

I am searching for a Mary Delmar who in 1930 lived in Plains, Luzerne Pa, she was married to a Perticari, Perticari is the name I am tracing, Mary had 3 children, her youngest one, Sante was born in 1929, I am trying to trace who she was married to, and what happened to the the Perticari she was married to, as in the 30 census she was living with her parents. Hi!! My name is Luis Delmar I am trying to find any information about my dad. His name is Jose Luis Delmar, and I know I was named after my grandfather which I believe was Louis Delmar. I Dont know anything about my father other than his name and where my mother and him had a relationship, which was in La Paz, Baja California Sur,Mexicon. Anyone out there have this name in your files? She is my gggGranmother. She was married to Thomas Townsend when my ggGrandfather John was born in 1820. I estimate her birth to be @1800-1805...
John was listed in the DOBR as "of New York City" in the marriage record to Jane Orillion in Louisiana. The name Delmar repeats itself throughout generations to the present time. this was a mystery until we found Elizabeth. The name Delmar is hard to find anywhere. Any clues are appreciated...

I tried e-mailing you at your address but it was refused. My GGrandfather Fred Martin Hare Sr. was Mary Ann (Hare) Leturno's brother. Fred Martin Hare Sr. (b. 1-27-1878 d. 8.24.1962) m. Emma P. (Leonard) Hare (b. 11-9-1888 d. 3-30-1973) They are buried at the South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Creek, OK. Please e-mail me. I have some information on other Hare's under Daniel Hare and Mary F. James Delmar (1857-1935) married Elizabeth Boyd (1858-1919) and had several children including John, Elizabeth, Annie, Theresa, James, Florence and Joseph.

James was the son of John Delmar (born about 1828 in Ireland and listed as a seaman in 1870 census from Phila.)
