Do you have info on the Delmas ancestors in San Domingo? I have that Juan Baptiste Delmas went to New Orleans by way of San Domingo {Haiti}; he was the father of Valentine who married Marie Josephing Krebs. My uncle believed many years ago that our family was related to yours. Only recently I learned they also came to the U.S. from San Domingo so feel that he was probably right. Francis A. Delmas was born there circa 1785, moved to Maryland; he'd be my great-great-grandfather. One John Baptist Theodore Delmas, probably a brother of Francis A., was a baptismal sponsor for John Theodore Delmas, son of Francis A., in 1816 in Baltimore, MD. Have you any references to my family?
