Joseph Delong is my 3great-grandfather. He died on 24 Sep 1853, in Russelltown, Quebec, Canada. After that Anna and the children moved to Wisconsin. We are a differnet branch of the Delong family and as far as can be determined, we are not related to the Ohio or Penn DeLong's. There is a possibility that our family came and first settled in New Amsterdam, NY. Also poss that Ezekial DeLong was his father, born ca: 1750 in New York state and died there.
