It's been a long time since these posts. However, I,too am a DeLong descendent. These DeLongs lived in Wisconsin-mostly Dunn County. We were always told there was native american in our heritage but the truth was there was a Negro relative in the mix. Hiram DeLong married Cynthia Rice whose father was part Negro. To this day some of the family will not accept this.
