Hi Wayne, my mother is a de Lore (New Zealand). I have info included in our ancestry that Andrew de Lore b. February 1st, 1861, KARUAH, NSW; d. August 11th, 1947, TUNCURRY NSW*. He was the 5th child of 10 to Joseph de Lore b. 1816 (or 1814 in some accounts) born in Bordeaux, France and married to Mary Keleher of County Clare, Ireland. They lived in Moreton Bay, Brisbane. Joseph de Lore died in Liverpool hospital 1879 and is buried in Liverpool cemetry. Mary later remarried a James Rennie of Rennie Island (Wallamba River).
Joseph de Lore(Delore/ Dolleur)had emigrated to Montreal Canada and was arrested for house breaking and sentenced to death, but instead conditionally transported to Australia via england in 1837/8.
*Andrew de Lore married Charlotte Avery, they had 7 children; Joseph, Margaret, John, Jessie, Mary, Ethel and Charlotte. (most of whom are burried in the Tuncurry cemetry NSW). I hope that helps:)
