Hello. I don't know if you will get this 10 years after you posted it! I am the great granddaughter of James Delorie who was Laurence's and Mary Jane's brother. They had other siblings as well. James was from Merland (formerly Tracadie) Antigonish and married Isabel McDonald from Nova Scotia. they immigrated to Massachusetts in 1895. they resided for many years on Clayton St. in Dorchester, Massachusetts. They had 8 children that survived to adulthood, the oldest was Rose Catherine Delorie, my paternal grandmother. James' and Laurence's parents were Fidel (sometimes spelled Fidelle) Delorey (sometimesspelled Delory) and Catherine (sometimes spelled Catharine) Murphy They were married on March 4 1867. He was born in Little Tracadie and she was born in Tracadie. I believe Catherine died in Merland in 1904 and Fidel in 1912 also in Merland. Fidel was the son of Stephen Delorey and Angele Bouche both of Nova Scotia. Catherine was the daughter of Laurence McDonald and Catherine Ryan, both from Guysborough, which is next to Merland/Tracadie. If you knew any of your relatives from James' family in Dorchester than you may have known my father, Rose's son, Albert Burgess. I think that you and I are 2nd cousins once removed. I hope this has helped and I hope to hear back from you. Joyce
