In May when I first replied to you I was skeptical of references to Daniel Delozier's birthplace as being in a particular city in France, mainly because wherever I have seen it stated it has never been supported by evidence or documentation, thats why I had asked if you had any source for his birthplace. Still I have found no evidence that he was born in a town, city or region of France, but I recently found in some new databases on Ancestry (Sons of the American Revolution) a family in New Jersey and then migrating to New York in the early to mid 1600's with the name D'Lozier or Dlozier which lends to the possibility that Daniel may not have been born in France. If anyone has evidence or documention of Daniels birthplace my hope is it will be presented, perhaps we will never know for sure.
