Charles Mankin, b.1778 d. 1840, had a daughter Elizabeth Mankin, b. 1819 d. 1876 of Alexandria, Va. She married William DeMaine, b. 1818 d. 1894 of Alexandria, Va. m. 1840. There is a DeMaine Family Bible that supposedly gives the genealogy of Charles Mankin. Last known to be in the possession of Marvin Demaine of Washington, DC.
