Albert R. DeMarco
Father of Triplets
Albert R. DeMarco, age 94,
passed on to his Maker Thursday May 15, 2008 at St. Mary’s at Asbury Ridge surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born in Erie the son of the late Pacifico and Mary Miozzi De Marco.

Al graduated from Academy High School in 1932 where he played baseball, basketball and track. He also enjoyed golfing and his daily walks. He retired in 1978 from the Erie School District’s Perry School
and was one of the founding members
of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church having joined in 1954 with then Msgr. Geiger as pastor.
He also belonged to the Word of Life Center at St. Marks and had been an officer with the Nuova Aurora Society. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; George and Sal DeMarco.
Albert is survived by his wife, Margaret DeMarco whom he married on July 1, 1942 and have been married for 66 years. He is survived by triplets; Paul R. DeMarco;
Paula Rathmann
and Paulette Rinderle and her husband Louis, all of Erie.
He is the brother of Robert DeMarco and his wife Gerrie;
John DeMarco and his wife Rose;
Geraldine DeMarco and Alvina DeMarco,
all of Erie. Al is the grandfather of Brian Rathmann and his wife Stacy; Rene Rinderle and his wife Heather-Renee
and Steven Rathmann.
He is the great-grandfather of Alexandra
and Nicklos Rathmann,
Christopher Hayden,
Donovan and Anderson
William Rinderle, all of Erie.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home West 9th &Liberty St. Sunday from 2-4 &7-9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Private Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Msgr. Connelly School Endowment Fund at Blessed Sacrament, 1626 W. 26th St., Erie, Pa. or the Word of Life Center at St. Mark’s Center, 429 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie, PA 16514.
