My name is Don Rayno and I am the author of Paul Whiteman: Pioneer in American Music, Vol. 1, which was published by Scarecrow Press in 2003. I am working on Vol. 2 now and have come across information that Whiteman "discovered" the three oldest DeMarco Sisters in a talent audition in June 1936. They were then featured on Whiteman's network radio show for Woodbury on June 28, 1936, and were given a screen test by Warner Brothers at their Vitaphone Studios in Brooklyn. I noticed that some years back, Rosana Brasselle, one of the DeMarco Sisters daughters, had posted on this message board. I would like to interview as many of the three oldest DeMarco Sisters that are living for my book, and am wondering if Rosana can help me to get in touch with them.
