Surnames: des Marais, Sohier,Obama
Yesterday while googling for Barack Obama's family tree,I found 2 sites which claim he is the 11th great grand son of David des Marais (Demarest) and Marie Sohier.
Has anyone else come across this and done any research? I find this interesting because my husband is a 9th great grandson of David and Marie. I have included the address of one of the websites below.
